I chose electrical work as my specialty because I enjoy the work and love solving the puzzle of meeting a show’s requirements within the limits of a theater’s electrical capability.  I have worked as the production electrician and master electrician on multiple shows and have frequently supported performances as a general electrician. I have worked in many different theaters, along with unique venues, such as a church (for an opera) and an abandoned  school (for Hilloween in Buladean, NC).

In addition, I was the E-shop Foreman for  5 months, managing labor and inventory, creating schedules and maintaining working order of all inventory, including fixing broken lights and making and fixing cables.

I have worked with many different programs, including Vectorworks, Lightwright, and both EOS and MA programming languages. I have completed multiple paper and hands-on projects to hone my skills in this area. I have worked with many different people and have learned how to skillfully communicate the actions required to fulfill a show's needs.

Paper project for Ragtime done in a Broadway-sized theater. I was tasked with making a Full Production Electrician Binder as a final project in stage Electrics 1. This included making layouts, a lightwright, set electrics, and other aspects of being a PE.

All layouts created for the implementation of UNCSA Winter Dance 2024 into the freedman theater. This process included working to meet the needs of 4 different designers, along with making paperwork for gel swapping

I finished acting as Production Electrician for the Spring Opera at UNCSA. This process involves set electrics, Wireless data, ground control spot lights, along with general creation of layouts and lightwright.
